Triage Investiga Hosts 2nd Webinar Series on ESG Risks: Modern Slavery Review

I am pleased to announce that Triage Investiga will be hosting the hashtag#2nd series of webinars on ESG risks: Modern Slavery review in Indonesia. As part of our contribution to hashtag#ESG, through ongoing webinars, we are building awareness of the risks of modern slavery, especially in Indonesian organizations, both in the private and public sectors.

There are still many of us who are not aware or are hearing the term 'modern slavery' for the first time, even though we have/often seen it around us. A simple situation of risk of modern slavery is a factory that only has 4 toilets for more than 100 workers, the majority of whom are male. Many do not yet know that Indonesia has regulations regarding this matter which is regulated in Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 5 of 2018 concerning health and safety. Not to mention that those toilets are not the best suitable for use.

Through ongoing webinars on modern slavery, we hope that the public understands what modern slavery is, how it can occur in company operations, and the importance of employee and supply chain training and education to prevent and mitigate the occurrence of modern slavery in their operations.
